Co-summit 2010 Speech - Abstract:

'Finland and European R&D co-operation in ICT'

During the last ten years, globalization of business and innovation processes has intensified. The Finnish companies are, therefore, not only focusing on national ICT cluster, but also on international innovation ecosystems. In this context, ITEA2 and Artemis offer flexible and relatively well-functioning frameworks for co-operation. The presentation reveals Finnish experience of European co-operation in ICT, benefits of the different instruments and the role of ITEA2 and Artemis in fulfilling the public sector’s objectives for fostering growth and industrial renewal.
