This section gives an overview of events in 2012 of ITEA / ITEA 2 and ITEA projects and of events with participation of ITEA / ITEA 2 or ITEA projects.
| EUREKA Academy Conference - R&D Collaboration in the food sector II | ||
| EUREKA held thematic conference on Interdisciplinary Research Cooperation and Technological Transfer in the Food Sector, inviting high level speakers from organisations and industry active in this field. EUREKA has adopted a multi-disciplinary approach around the food-producing sector finding synergies in a number of technological sectors like the manufacturing industry, IT and logistics. Representatives from European and National Technology Platforms, National Funding and Innovation Agencies within the EUREKA network, Industry and other relevant stakeholders discussed together the modalities of the generation of interdisciplinary projects in the food sector. This conference was a follow-up event to preceding conferences organised between March and November 2011. |

| EUREKA Academy Conference - The Regional Dimension of Innovation | ||
| A priority of the Hungarian EUREKA Chairmanship is to begin exploring the regional dimension of EUREKA. At times of austerity alternative sources of funding need to be investigated more than ever such exploration is auspicious. To pave the way for EUREKA to become an active collaborative partner for regional stakeholders both at EU and national levels and to explore experience, best practice and possible future options for funding EUREKA projects, a EUREKA Academy conference was planned. | ITEA2 Call 7 - Information day in Turkey - TUBITAK | ||
| On 12 January 2012, TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) organised an “ ITEA2 Call 7 Info Day” in Ankara, Turkey. This event brought together the academicians and representatives of information and communication technology (ICT) companies in Turkey and provided information regarding the EUREKA Cluster ITEA 2, benefits of the cluster projects for SMEs, building R&D networks and preparing a successful Project Outline.
