 Technology meets progress - HANNOVER MESSE had eight flagship trade fairs with exhibitors and trade visitors from all over the world.

The 3nd International eCarTec conference is one of the most important trade fair for electric mobility, bringing together all current developments and technologies.

The conference dealt with current topics regarding electric mobility and provided information on potentials, trends, infrastructure and pioneering developments in the automotive and storage technology industry as well as in the infrastructure business.

In the frame of dissemination actions of the ACDC project VTT organised an  ACDC / NextMedia workshop in Espoo on April 3rd, 2012.

The fourth annual symposium of ESI covered a wide range of applied research topics on embedded systems with: keynote speeches, presentations on the results of ESI projects, an information market, networking opportunities and the celebration of ESI's 10th anniversary. 

On the 21^st of March 2012, the Korean Ministry of Knowledge Economy (MKE) and the EUREKA Hungarian Chairmanship held a “Korea EUREKA Day” for the first time in Brussels. 

Under the theme of ‘Bringing Korean and European Innovation Together’ this high-level event aimed to provide a platform where technology and innovation experts from Europe and Korea could share project concepts for the generation of new proposals and establish new connections. 

The event brought together Ministerial representatives from Korea and European Countries, the European Commission, members of the EUREKA Network of national Innovation funding agencies, as well as Korean and European large company CTOs and research institute heads.

CeBIT as the heart of the digital world. CeBIT is the digital industry's biggest, most international event. Thanks to its unique combination of exhibition, conferences, keynotes, corporate events and lounges, CeBIT represents an unrivaled tool for doing business and sealing deals.

A priority of the Hungarian EUREKA Chairmanship is to begin exploring the regional dimension of EUREKA.

On March 7th, 2011, a Steering Group meeting of Danube Strategy PA7 was organised.

On March 8th, 2011 the conference focussed on:

    - West Balkan Countries INCO-NET and Southeast European ERA-Net

ITEA 2 Chairman Rudolf Haggenmüller gave a presentation during this event. 

The focus of the event was on the new challenges for the telecommunications world and the competitiveness of Europe's telecommunications industry towards a Smart Connected World.
 

The event brought together researchers and practitioners interested in the application of ICT to healthcare and medicine in general and to the specialised support to persons with special needs in particular.

A paper resulted from the MEDIATE project was presented.
 

• Raising awareness of EU and non EU regional funding opportunities;
• Learning from practitioners in the field, including those already exploiting regional funds;
• Developing practical conclusions that might contribute to a EUREKA position on the regional dimension of innovation.
